Survey Details
Selecting "Details" from the survey editing menu will display the Survey Details window. The Survey Details section contains basic information for your survey.
Survey Title
The survey title generally appears at the top of your survey.
Author
The author field embeds the name of the author of the survey into the HTM file as well as becomes a field that can be displayed on any reports that are generated using WebSurveyor.
Introductory and Closing Text
The Introductory and Closing texts are included at the beginning and end of your survey respectively. They are generally used to introduce the purpose of the survey to your respondents as well as thank them for taking the survey at the end. You can insert HTML tags within any of these fields.
Result URL
If you would like survey respondents to go to a specific Web page after they submit their responses, enter the complete URL (including http://) into this space.

Warning!
If the address you enter into the Result URL field is not valid, your survey respondents will receive a "Page cannot be displayed" error. Note: Although respondents receive this error, their responses WILL be collected. To correct an invalid Result URL, all you will need to do is enter the correct version of the Result URL, and then republish your survey.

Security and Advanced
Use the Security and Advanced buttons to pull up their associated dialogs. The Advanced dialog is used to enter codes provided by our technical support team for advanced or testing features. These advanced features remain undocumented due to the impact they can have on your survey if not properly used.
Note: Any changes you make to these fields will flag the survey as having been modified. The settings are not permenant until you save the survey.
